Most wash scratches are sand being dragged across paint.
So nothing touches the car until the grit has gone. We soak it, let the foam lift what is sitting on the surface, rinse it away, and only then go in by hand.

Water first, so the dry sand loosens and floats off.

Thick foam sits on the panels and carries the grit down.

Hand wash
Panels, glass, wheels and arches, one section at a time.

Dry
Towel dried, with the glass and tyres finished.

Cabin
Vacuum and wipe down, so the inside matches the outside.
